FREE High School Diploma Program

Open Enrollment Throughout the Year!

This high school diploma program is online and self-paced but you will have a teacher to help facilitate and guide you to successfully completing your courses! Drop-in labs at CAJ are open daily Monday – Friday 8:30 – 3:00pm to work on your classes, get tutoring, and take exams.

All final/cumulative exams must be taken in person at CAJ with your teacher.

You must be 18 years or older.

STEPS TO ENROLL:

FIRST THING: Please send a PDF of your high school transcript to adulteducation@scusd.edu so it can be evaluated to see how many credits you need to complete. Pictures of transcripts will not be accepted.

Then follow the Assessment, Advising, Orientation, and Enrollment Process

1. Schedule your CASAS Reading and Math Assessment
2. Meet with our Student Advisor
3. Enroll in the high school diploma class
4. Receive an email with your Edgenuity Learning Management System (LMS) log-in and instructions on how to navigate the LMS

English – 40 credits

U.S. History – 10 credits

World History/Cultures/Ethnic Studies – 10 credits

Government and Economics – 10 credits

Fine Arts/Foreign Language/CTE – 10 credits

Integrated Math I / Algebra I – 10 credits

Other Math – 10 credits

Life Science – 10 credits

Physical Science – 10 credits

Personal Finance – 5 credits

Electives – 35 credits

The program is a hybrid program – courses are self-paced online and in-person sessions with the teacher.
