Nursing Assistant Certification - CDPH Approved

5 Week Program (80 hours classroom theory and 112 hours practical shop hours = 192 total hours)

2026-2027 Start Dates (One day orientation dates prior to class start date will be given to enrolled students):

August 17, 2026 - September 22, 2026

September 30, 2026 - November 5, 2026

November 16, 2026 - January 11, 2027

January 19, 2027 - February 25, 2027

March 3, 2027 - April 14, 2027

April 21, 2027 - May 26, 2027

Monday – Friday (in-person classroom) from 7:00 - 3:30pm 

Monday – Friday (in-person clinical) from 6:00 - 2:30pm 

Admission Requirements:

  • Please follow the Assessment, Advising, Orientation, and Enrollment Process
  • Minimums CASAS Scores Required: Reading 234 and Math 214
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school graduation is NOT required for NA but you will need your high school transcript showing proof of graduation or high school equivalency if you want to continue on to Vocational Nursing – we can dual enroll you in academics and the program to obtain your HS diploma/HS equivalency
  • Must pass a drug and criminal background check before enrolling into the program
  • Health clearance by physical exam
  • Negative TB test required before enrolling in the program
  • Ability to lift, pull, and roll a minimum of 30 pounds, reach overhead
  • Stoop, bend, and grasp, and stand/walk for long periods of time

Potential Salary: $33,000 – $48,000

Program Cost (scholarships available): $1600 plus additional fees and costs of supplies and materials
