Admission Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma/High School Equivalency
  • Health clearance by physical exam
  • Negative TB test required before entering program
  • Ability to lift, pull, and roll a minimum of 30 pounds, reach overhead
  • Stoop, bend, and grasp, and stand/walk for long periods of time

Certified phlebotomy technicians are trained professionals who collect blood and other patient specimens for laboratory testing and analysis. They play a vital role in healthcare, ensuring accurate lab results that support diagnosis and treatment. Phlebotomists commonly work in hospitals, clinics, diagnostic labs, doctor's offices, and other medical facilities.

Potential Salary: $48,000 - $63,000

Program Cost (scholarships available): $2995 plus books, scrubs, and fees associated with background check, drug screening, and State Licensing fees.
