FREE U.S. Citizenship Preparation Class - WASC Accredited
Now enrolling! Classes start August 11, 2026!
Tuesday and Thursday Evenings Online 5:30 - 8:00pm (must attend BOTH evenings)
Please follow the Assessment, Advising, Orientation, and Enrollment Process at Charles A. Jones to enroll in the Online Citizenship Class.
You will take a reading assessment and need to score a minimum of 200 and enroll in an English or academic class to enroll in the US Citizenship Test Preparation Class. Dual-enrollment is required.
Classes are ONLINE with an instructor Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 - 8:00pm. After you enroll, you will receive an email invitation to a meeting via a link. You must commit to attending BOTH evening classes (not just one) or you could be dropped from the class.
Preparation course to prepare students to take the U.S. naturalization interview and examination.
Our preparation course includes an overview of American history and government, geography, and the duties and rights of citizenship. Study of basic written and spoken English in a context specific to the naturalization application, interview, and civics questions.
This class is for students of all English levels who are eligible to become U.S. Citizens. You must also be enrolled in an ESL class at the same time!
