Welcome to the Charles A. Jones Career and Education Center,
proudly serving adults throughout the Sacramento region with
high-quality, affordable career training in areas that are in
demand regionally and statewide.

Orientation sessions, held every Wednesday morning beginning at
8:30 a.m. in the school’s multipurpose room. Learn about the
wide range of educational and career training opportunities, as
well as our full range of Student Support Services. Our campus is
home to a Sacramento Works Training Center, the staff of which is
ready and eager to assist you as you search for a training
program to meet your career goals.
There is no other public adult school that has such a rich
offering of community partnerships with social service agencies
and community-based organizations.
The Charles A. Jones Career and Education Center has served
the Sacramento community for over forty years by offering a wide
variety of career training programs to meet the ever-changing
demands of the local and regional labor market, while providing
the skills so critically needed for livable wage jobs.
